Day 20 Friday, March 28

This morning we are up "before the chickens"!  It is still dark outside!

We have to catch the 5:00 a.m. hotel shuttle for the short drive to the Los Angeles International Airport, where our flight on United Airlines, for the final leg of our long journey home, departs at 6:30 a.m.

We hug Donna and say a sad goodbye at LAX since she is flying to Billings, Mt. (via Denver) where she left her car parked (and she will still have a few hours drive to her home in Greybull, Wy.).  Norma, Jeanne and I are heading straight to Dallas, DFW Airport, where my sweet Tom will be meeting us to drive us home.

After we are aloft our pilot announces that we may have to divert to Oklahoma City to wait out the impending severe storms that are predicted for the Dallas/Fort Worth area.  No way!  Norma and I immediately begin saying a prayer that we will make it home before the storms arrive.  We do not want any more delays.  We are so ready to be home.

Thankfully, our prayers were answered.  We made it safely to DFW with no delays.

I know I have said it before, but there is no place like home with my Sweetie!
Be it ever so humble, no mater where I travel, I always love coming home!
