Branson - Day 4

Thursday April 24

Today is considered our "free day".  We enjoyed another delicious breakfast provided for us in the Radisson's Restaurant.

We decide to have a "game day", so we asked at the front desk if we could have a table and six chairs delivered to our room, and within minutes it happened.  Norma and I sort of rearranged our room to accommodate our "game table".
Let the games begin!  We started off (two teams of three) with a game of "hand & foot", and of course we enjoyed cold drinks and snacks along with lots of good conversation and laughter!
The husbands of these women even stopped by our "game room" and "took orders" for Taco Bell and went and picked up lunch and brought it back to their wives.  How sweet is that.

In the afternoon we tired of sitting in the room playing games.  Some of the women went shopping while Norma and I went for a walk around the neighborhood surrounding the Radisson.
This is the beautiful grounds surrounding the Moon River Theater which was right next door to our hotel.

In the evening we went to the Uptown Café for dinner.  The Uptown Café brings back the style and personality of the 1950's with great food and amazing service.
There was a gal (can't remember her name) with a great voice entertaining us as we enjoyed dinner, with a wide variety of song/music as she walked about the dining room, hugging the "mature" men (making them feel good), and hugging the younger men (making herself feel good).

After dinner we went to the Baldknobbers Jamboree @ Baldknobbers Theater.  Branson's first show, the Baldknobbers Jamboree is filled with top country hits, favorite country classics, and comedy guaranteed to make you laugh.  The Baldknobbers are celebrating their 49th year as Branson's very first live entertainment.
The auditorium was not full so BooBoo had her own private seat!
BooBoo is getting to be quite the little "world traveler"!

Tomorrow is our last full day in Branson and Norma, Sherry, and I plan to take a short road trip over to Grand Falls, near Joplin, Missouri.
